This movie is about the Andy dufresne who is the protagonist, well he is shown as a great banker who got in shawshank jail in the accusation of murdering his wife and his wife's lover. And here starts the real story of film when you find the philosophical dialogues about HOPE and Prison. But at the end you will remain astounded with the great escape of Andy Dufresne. So must watch it and you will watch it again and again.


2) The great gatsby:

This melodramatic hollywood movie directed by Baz Luhrmann. Basically it is about the Gatsby the protagonist who is quite wealthy person and in love with a white blond lady. But unfortunately that love is far from him and she has become the wife of one of the most proud high born person. 


Just to have a glimpse of that lady who lives at the other side of sea where Gatsby has house at the front of sea, Jay Gatsby arranges great meritorious parties every week but that lady does not come. Finally they meet through a fine reverend person. Actually this very man is the main person who is telling the whole story of the life of gatsby. This film covers the many aspects of different perceptions because many people used to call gatsby a criminal, filcher, crook, bandit etc but actually no one could recognized him and so this shows the wrong believe and wrong perception of people. Well at the end these people who used to attend and enjoy Gatsby's parties do not even come at his death just to pray at least. This is the story of stereotypical thinking. All about our perception.


3) 3 IDIOTS:

This is one of the most liked movie of Asia directed by Rajkumar Hirani. This movie is all about the pressure of society on a child to study what the society prefer but not that which a child is passionate about. The parents who are highly worried about their children to have name in society otherwise what would people say. This film is about the cramming that how our society pressurizes our children to cram well otherwise you'll get failed. whether the child is understanding or not but only the good grades are important. 


Moreover Aamir khan is protagonist in this film who is shown as a strong personality as Ranchondas chamaldas chanchad. The topic is quite influencing so must watch this movie to change your perception towards life.

4) Beauty and the Beast:

Well this is fictional film but quite influential directed by Bll Condon. Emma Watson is the protagonist, the heroin of film industry who is loves by all. This romantic story is of a proud prince who only knows the tyranny, who does not like people's beautiful hearts but the beautiful appearance  and hates poors so one day he becmes a beast of someone curse and after a long long time a beautifull young poor girl comes to his dark sinister palace where they meet. 
This film is about the racism and love for humanity.

5) INCEPTION:

This is a must watch movie which is based on dreams and directed by Christopher Nolan. Leonardo diCaprio is the main protagonist is with the skills of stealing people's secrets by entering into their sub conscious dreams. You'll get the main idea after watching this great movie. But the major understanding is that how we want to have our dreams come true and so this is also like that. His wife sees a dream where their whole family lives happily but her wife takes that life as real and does not get ready to leave that dream. In this film, his wife is his real enemy as well as his love. 

This is not just a movie but our inner-selves can be observed in it.
